Will do more at home:

I went with Horseless Carriage Transporters http://www.horselesscarriage.com/ . They were great - I highly recommend them - but they are at the upper end of the cost scale. ($1900 from Lynbrook, NY to Beaverton, OR. On the major plus side, they are THE professional outfit, use a custom semi for hauling, and you can use them and then just not worry about a thing once they pick up your car. And they will deliver to your location/directions. I had them come directly to my work location.

If cost-sensitive, you might try Joncar Transporters (I can get you the info later tonight - target cost was ~$1200 for an open transporter). I did NOT do an extensive checkout of them, but did talk to the owner over the phone and came away fairly impressed. I also think another forum members used them - ask on the forum. But - as I have said - I only talked to them.
