A SupraTT can pull 0.96g stock, depending on the skidpad temp and "tooth"...
There was a supercar shootout in C&D or R&T circa `98 where they tested the SupraTT, 3000GT VR-4, Corvette, 911TT, NSX, F355, and one or two others I don't recall. The Supra pulled 0.96g on the dry 300' skidpad and 0.86g on the WET skidpad. That number was better than the AWD 911TT in the wet!
Also, the chrome wheels are the stock wheels on the anniversary edition (`98 model year).

That was just NASA's post the other day. I'm not sure what his problem is.
Supra's have great handling. The only problem is that, since the Turbo has so much torque (330 lb-ft stock), it can very easily step the tail end out.
Personally, I have never seen anything written about the Supra that even comes close to what NASA posted. I almost got one before I got the M3, and they are frighteningly fast and have razor sharp handling. The steering is not as good as the M3 (E36 vintage), but the suspension is fantastic.
