I think its not as loud as my old intake set up.which was just an open air K&N with a custom heat sheild.

its something like it but they dont use a heat shield, I dont think. but its not ABD. Its custom Basically 3.5" stainless exhaust about 3-4" long and a ****ty heat shield I made at work one day It was very open air. too much so for my comfort level. the K&N sat right above the wheel well, all kinds of **** could have gotten in there. I used to clean it once every two weeks or so, but now it sits in the box Jon sent me my X-1 in.

I never did actually finish the custom set up I really wanted to go all out and make something like the X-1 but of stainless steel. I was going to then with either exhaust wrap or tile the hot side to keep the temps down, but I got lazy and never finished the set-up sadly.
Maybe now that I'm done modding?????????? I'll finish it off like I wanted to in the first place only time will tell.
