Anyone DIY without removing the front bumper? Thanks in advance.

Default It will probably save you alot of time to just take off the bumper ..

Its not that hard to remove the bumper although I'm not familiar with the process on an A6. You will spend alot of time wrestling with it trying to fit it onto the spindle that it sits on. by the way, which snub? I fought with the VAST\Greedspeed polyeurethane one for an hour or two before boiling it in hot water, then it popped right on. before that we shaved with a knife, greased it, etc etc etc ..

Default Yep. I did it 3 times. Got it under 45 minutes. The key for me was to cut an allen

key into a straight piece about 1/2" long so I could use it with a small box end wrench for the socket head bolts which bolt the bracket to the engine.

You'll also need to take all 4 screws out of the radiator support bracket side to allow that to move.
