is the Hitachi maf better?

Word has it that Audi switched to Hitachi due to to all of the failures. I don't think there is any
data that shows one is better than the other. The only thing I remember reading was a thread saying the Hitachi MAF was a bit small in diameter. Most felt it was still plenty wide enough to flow the necessary air.
