Hmmm...considering selling the 01 Avant..and getting on the waiting list for the 03 S4 sedan
I am serious about this...I am thinking that it will be 340 bhp..and weigh in at about 3800 lbs stock.
BTW, the BMW is back in the shop getting the head gasket repaired...so..I might have my dedicated track car back...cross your fingers..I need the help.

How do you know it will be released in 2003? And why would you want the 1st year North American (M)
production anyways? I would just think it's more sensible to wait until the quirks have been ironed out on other guinea-pigs! 
I've been thinking about this too, and the dillema is - if I wait to sell my car will the resale value go down as it is being replaced by a newer model.
However, the more I think about it, the more I think it could go either way. Audi resale is not the same as BMW's, but look how well the older M3 has held up in terms of resale value. If people do not like the new S4, or the new S4 is N/A when people want a turbo, it's quite posible that our S4's will hols their resale.
Anyways, just my $.02 since I've been considering doing the same thing for the past few months.

Steve, you seem to be getting more & more confident in your info...any news you'd like to share?
and how much to you "think it will cost"?
What would be your reasons for selling the one you have? Are you concerned with warranty work / problems in general?
Are you just super impressed by the new design?
would you sell the '01 now? What would you drive between now and then?
