Default Hmmm, think my alignment was off just a bit?

Between lowering with the Stasis, and replacing the tie rod ends (which I tried to adjust by matching thread turns with the old ones, seems my alignment was toed out just a wee bit. So I had to replace my old Pilot Sports earlier than expected. Good news is the Pirelli Rosso's that replaced them are MUCH quieter and I don't notice much loss of steering response/handling in daily driving.

Default Interesting, I've got the same wear problem

with my front end using adjustable camber arms. And that's AFTER an alignment. Zero toe, 2 degrees negative camber, but don't recall the caster numbers. Mine aren't worn down to the cords, but there's a definite flat spot right where you cords are showing.

Let me know what your old alignment numbers are when/if you get yours aligned.

Thx.

Default Re: Rosso's....so far I'm very happy with my PZero Rosso's as well....

...much, much, much better than the P6000's the car came with. Very comfortable ride, sharp handling, no tread noise to speak of. Will have to see how they hold up over the long-haul.

Default Already realigned. Don't recall all the numbers

but it was toed out over 1.5 degrees when the specs call for slight toe in.

Default Andy, what pressures are you running?

They seem to like lower pressures better than the Pilots. I started at 38/37 and found them a little 'floaty'. Down to 36.5/35 now and they are better. Gonna drop to 36/34. Just looking at the footprint, they seem to lie 'flatter' at the lower pressures.

Default I think I'm at 37 front / 35 rear....still fiddling around with pressure...

I think I was overinflating my P6000's as they were noticeably worn in the center of the tread area. I had been running pressures something like 39-40 front and 36 rear.

I may drop the pressures in the Rosso's down to 36 front and 34 rear and see how it works out.
