That is, a blown E36 M3. A buddy has one, and he's gotten 13.1 to 13.5 timeslips. Dunno 0-60, but I'd guess not better than mid 4's (traction is an issue).
He's thinking aftercooler, which will bump him from around 350hp to 400hp, and would likely break into the 12's. eeks.

I don't believe there is any accepted definition of what
any particular stage means. Each tuner has his own "stages" or no reference to "stage" at all. There are several tuners who, either presently or soon will, offer packages that will get over 400hp from an S4 2.7t. That should let you run with any M3, probably even the M5.

i am not so sure about that,
2 very good drivers, Slvrbullet and D. Schotz only ran 13.0's with that type of setup. I think that yes you can get 12's with that, but you need to have one really flawless run, with optimal conditions

True, but SlvBullet missed a shift on his run and Dave's clutch was going out
as well as he's at an elevation of atleast 1500ft. My best time corrected to sea level would have been a little over 1 tenth quicker.
But, an S4 will have trouble beating a "properly" tuned SC M3.

OK. So it sounds like to me that a well set up
blown E36 M3 is too close of a call with a chipped/intaked/exhaust(ed) S4. We're talking low 13's for either car.
If you take the S4 to the next level and go with bigger turbos, how much turbo lag do you experience?
