Default Hopefully minor stuff with car, need advice...

First, is it normal for the passenger side floor to bulge out slightly from the Transmission control unit/module housing? When I put it back in, I am almost positive that I got it to line up with the anchor points setting correctly with the housing/box. My VAG reports a bad interior temp sensor (G56), it blows hot air sometimes for no apparent reason. Has anyone replaced this? I know I gotta pull the radio to get to it, just would like any other info (trim pieces?etc...) Now for the other problem. I have run the fuel quality test (eng elect.-basic settings-test107) and keep getting high readings (DTC's 17519-O2S Regulation: Bank 1: system too lean 35-00-- AND DTC 17555-O2 control (bank2) system too lean 35-00--)All other tests seem to pass, these keep coming back. I have kept my car in "Stock" mode and haven't used any of the other 91/93 octane programs. I have run these tests on 3 different fillups from EXXON, MOBILE, and TEXACO, all 93 OCT pump, with same results. I want to replace the MAF sensor, but for my 2000 the dealer still lists the Bosch MAF sensor ($212.00) should I stay with this one? The only thing I haven't done is check for leaks, is this a tedious procedure? When I run tests on the cats and cat sensors/heaters, they all pass. Here are my numbers/%'s for those DTC's: O2 control 1: 19%-21.1%, O2 control 2: 18%-19.5% ...All @ IDLE 760-800RPM. I'm hoping changing the MAF will make these DTC's go away, I have to drive 3000 miles soon. Thanks to all

Chris

Default Those DTC's could be caused by bad MAF...

Best way to confirm is run through the revs and plot mass air flow versus rpm. Non-chip should be about 210 g/s and chip 260 g/s.

For leaks, get the AWE (?) pressure tester - works great.
