Default How can one tell if one's pcv (positive crankcase valve?) & spider hose setup is fubared?...

I ran into some problems over the weekend (please see link below) and want to make sure I don't overlook anything as I commute back and forth from work this week in the S.

Should I log 115? Will my car start having idling issues with bad pcv/spider hose?

Thanks to Mike2kS4, Mat@4induktion and Pattersom for the helpful advice on Sunday. Now I'm really paranoid!

TIA for all your help.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2291759.phtml">S4 leakage</a></li></ul>

the idle would be off (since that hose should only see vac.)

Default With "idle being off", do you mean I would experience variable...

idling at standstill? My tach has been, and still is currently, idling at 800 rpm.
