Default How difficult is it to install the APR Bi-Pipe...

I have sworn I saw a post or a note that showed the installation and the whole front end of the car was removed. Tell me that aint the only way.

Also, do I need the Audi service manual for this operation?

Default only 3 easy steps

1. call AMS

2. Order R-TBB kit ($89.95)

3. install R-TBB

I found the instructions on the www.goapr.com. What is the diverter valve? Good time to change?

You say LOL, but I am seriously considering any alternative to the cost of the APR solution.

Default Its not that hard.

You don't have to take off the front end to do it. You do have to take off the head lights to reach the top of the intercoolers. When I put in mine, I installed the motor mount too. It was even easier(to install the bi-pipe) because I already had the bumper off and the (for lack of a better word)front end loosend up. That created a lot of room to work with, and cut the labor down on the two jobs. Since I had the front end loosened up, I didn't need to remove the head lights. On a scale of 1-10, I would say it is a 3.5. Its not hard mechaniclly to do, its just you have have the confidence to "remove and replace" the front end on an expensive car. No big deal, really.
