How do I decide where to get an alignment? Or does it even matter what shop i decide on?

Default How do I decide where to get an alignment? Or does it even matter what shop i decide on?

Is there any certain equipment a shop needs to align my car? I asked a local shop today and they said they think they can do it but the wheels look way out of alignment so there may be a problem. Should I just pick the cheapest place? The reason I need the alignment is from a recent coilover install.

IIRC, it doesn't apply with aftermarket suspensions.

Default I don't think it matters much. Just find a shop with the latest equipment.

If you're shooting for custom specs, you might want to find a race shop instead.
