They both have their advantages, personally, I'd prefer a RWD car, most here would not.

Default I was thinking last night - "wouldn't it be nice if audi changed their entire philosphy from FWD and

AWD to RWD and AWD?"

It seems to me that the advantages of FWD vs. RWD are only in adverse weather conditions and predictably, safer handling at the limit. But the advantage of FWD over AWD is only money.

It would be very nice to purchase the S and RS models in RWD form and would then pit them squarely against BMW and MB - hmmm.

Default It would really be nice if Audi let us adjust the center differential...like allowing 100% to be

sent to the rear or 50/50 split.

Default Different situations. When I'm in nasty weather, give me AWD

When i'm out having fun the RWD is the better proposition, my 911 was a real hoot to drive, "don't lift don't lift!!"" heheh

Default That's impossible with Quattro, unless you settle for the Haldex system

(like the one in the TT)

Default AWD = great 4 season car in the northeast. Plus, I can toast most RWD cars on the road

22 lbs of boost will do that
