How do you get the piece of trim above the glove box off?

Default STFA. It's been discussed many times. Remove glovebox and driver side knee...

bolster. You now have access to 5 of 6 clips. You can pry the one on top of the hazard trim by wrapping a big screwdriver with a rag and wedge it in between the trim and dash. You can use a small piece of wood or anything that you can wedge underneath the screwdriver to give you more leverage. I used silicone on that part to secure it back in place.
