How do you replace the water pump? There is one screw at the very top left that I cannot get to. :(

How do you replace the water pump? There is one screw at the very top left that I cannot get to. :(
Also, what type of gasket do I need? Is it an Audi precut one or do I just use the typical high-temp gasket goop?

IIRC, I had to take the steering pump loose enough to move it up to get to that last screw.
The water pump I bought from ECS came with a gasket and most recommend not to lather it with gasket compound. Don't know about doing it without the gasket, though.
Mine is a 2000 A6 2.7 tip, but all the same anyway.
