Default How does an RS4 get from

265 horse to 380? Bigger Turbos? Intercollers? what? Obviosly it makes more boost, how much more? Is it as reliable as an S car? I am awaiting an S car and would love to get 380 out of it! Waranty issues are none, can this be done in a reliable fashion for less than the cost of a small condo? I heard a chip takes you to 320...at what kind of boost levels is this achieved? Is it out of the ball park to assume that a full exhaust including a high-flow rezzy would get you to 340?

If I could build an S4 Avant that goes 105+ in the quarter I would be in heaven!

Default Try reading down the page--(more)

probably 2 bigger turbos and engine management, and some minor stuff. The cylinder heads, however, are designed/built by cosworth, which is only of note because the s4 heads might not be strong enough???

Anyway, read lower down the forum page and you will see a discussion about this.

In addition, 225's seem to be the widest tire that can fit on the S4, another topic which has been here frequently.

I have already had a 245/35/18 on my A4 Avant with NO scraping so I know the 225 comment is wrong. So like I guess someone should read the entire forum before posting a question or they have to listen to your dribble, huh? If that was the case there would be very little to post here. Between the archives, 9 pages of forums and 12 different forums, I'm sure every issue you could ever bring up has been beat to death here. Thanks for the cylinder head info...lighten up a bit.
