I sort of got blown away by one, or at least that's probably what he thought, but I wasn't really trying to race him. He was in front of me going about 70 in the fast lane (10:30 pm, 101 South, just past University), and I couldn't get around him because of someone going the same speed just to his right. So I rode his *** until he moved over, then I brought it up to 80-85, and he was cruising off my right rear corner. So I accelerated in 6th just to get him off my corner, and he kept up with me. So I dropped into 5th, not really trying to race, but trying to get some space between us, and he floors it screaming past me at at least 110 (I was up to about 105 by that point, but he passed me like I was going 70). Of course there is traffic up ahead, so he had to slam the brakes, and then he proceeded to drive like a tool, weaving around people and ****e...

Anyway, I was just curious. I was not even prepared to race him, because I never get in races, not exactly sure why. I never got in races in my '94 RX-7, either. So obviously dropping from 6th to 5th isn't going to win me any races...oh well, maybe next time...

SL is around 475HP 0-60 = 4.6s around $130k
Either is a force to be reckoned with. Both are a rare sighting.

I think he's talking about CL55 and SL55 -- SL55's are VERY rare

I've counted at least 4 new SL55's here in SB...And a ton of SL 500's....I pull up, drool, then drive away.
