Default How long does everyone let there car warm up for?....

I usually let it warm up 7-10 mins before driving it, or if I cant I usually let it get to idea then drive very slow. lol... Someone told me that's wrong and I shouldn't be letting it warm up that long... Any ideas about what i'm doing? Is it wrong?

that's fine, just wait until the oil temp is up to get into full boost

I wait till the idle drops to 900, then keep RPMs low till the oil needle starts to move up.

5-10 minutes, wait till 900 rpm, then keep revs below 3000 until oil warms up..same as Markcore.

Default 7-10 minutes before driving it? Jeez, that's totally unnecessary

Like Mark said, wait for the idle to drop - you just need to give it time to get oil through the system, and get the cats a tiny bit warm. Then, you don't need to keep the RPM's low or anything, just keep off boost until the needle moves - or if you have K03's, wait until the needle hits at least 175...

Default I wait till the RPMs drop after initial startup. Then it is better to drive the car warming up...

all parts of the car together. If you let your engine warm up for 7-10 minutes, that is the only thing that's warm. Your differential, transmission, etc. are all still cold. It's just easier on the parts as a whole if you warm everything up together.

rpm below 900. Under 3000 until water temp needle vertical. No boost until 175 deg oil.

Lay off the pipe, buddy. No reason to let it warm up like that.

Default wait for idle to drop to normal. low engine load (thus low boost) until warm

also in general i don't exceed 3.5krpm..though i try to stay near there to warm it up a little faster.
wait for oil to warm before getting too much into boost. 104K miles on OF Ko3, 54K chipped.
