Default How to remove driveshaft?

So I have all of the bolts removed, but the flanges are `stuck' together. Any tricks or tips to get them apart?

On that note, the exhaust (compression) clamps were done for, I had to cut them off. What do you all recommend for replacement?

Tap 'em gently - use a wood drift - do not hit them directly. Watch your head!!

Default Still not coming out... tried to put something, like a chisel between the two, no luck

Tried to put the brake on the rear and move the front wheels manually with 1 of the flanges unbolted, but it doesn't do a whole lot. Obviously I'm not 100% on this AWD system.

Just to make sure I'm thinking about this right, on the rear flanges (by the rear diff), the front 'half' of it is for the drive shaft, and the rear 'half' is for the diff. Then does the driveshaft half sit flush with the rear diff half, or does the driveshaft half sit inside of the rear half? I can't really tell from looking at it and I've never done anything with the drive shaft in these cars before. 'New' drive shaft (Rebuilt from Raxels) won't be here until tomorrow so I can't look at that to see what's going on.

Default Thanks, any particular 'style' I should look for if I just get them locally?

I have some other stuff I need to order at some point from ECS, but maybe not now. So I'd rather not put an order in, pay for shipping on just those two. And I only need the clamps, the sleeves are fine.
