Default Depends on the brand of tire. You can probably do a 245 w/ a Falken tire, but

may run into problems with S03s or BFG KDWs. Find S4MadMan, he'll probably know better than anyone else. Or just go to some of the tire brand's website and look up the actual widths.

Default I'm no expert, but I don't think that's true. There are people running 255's in the front too.

As I understand it, you've just got to have the right combination of wheel offset and tire, as well as agressive fender rolling.

The link points to a thread where I was asking the guy questions about his setup where he says he has:

"255/18/35 Toyo T1-S all around on SSR comp"

FYI, the wheels are are 8.5" wide and ET35 and he does NOT have widebody fenders.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1750351.phtml</a

Default I am running 255/35/18's on 18x8.5 CH's and on 18x8.5 Iforged

rims. The front fenders are rolled and the lips were flattened. In the rear I have contact and we are doing suspension mods to prevent that.

Default Hey Zev, is it contact with the fender or suspension components? TIA

Also, to flatten the front fender lips, did you use a fender roller or just the ol' baseball bat?

Quick Reply: how wide of a tire can you fit on a 18x8.5 on the rear?? TIA
