Don't know the build date but it has a Port of Entry Boston 09 10 on the sticker, was delivered last week of September and say "HP2 4-piston high performance front brakes"

I keep reading that the 2 piston calipers are better and lighter than the one's on the "old" S4 (the european model). Is this really true? Where the old calipers the HP2 4 piston calipers? Does Audi offer 4piston calipers on any other model, maybe S8? You dont see Porsche changing there calipers from 4 to 2 pistons with as lame excuse as suposedly being lighter. Maybe they changed them to save money. I dont know, but we should not beleive everything we're told. Or at least not that quikly.

My sticker as many says HP-2 4 Piston Calipers. i called Audi of America. They issued a statement which someone sighted the URL to not long ago on the forum. Look back a few weeks on HP-2, you should be able to find the link. It says they understand the issue but then go one to prove that the newer 2 piston calipers are lighter and more powerful.
