Default HUGE PROBLEM: my turn signals do not work....HELP!!!

i just installed my icelink plus which went fine. i first disconnected the negative terminal of the battery.

i just realized that my turn signals do not work as i was driving to get groceries.

my emergency lights will cause them to blink normally but when i use the turn signal stalk i either get one flicker on the dash (but none outside) or nothing at all.

i checked fuses and they are fine.

the only other thing i did when installing was that i had to take out my airbox and move wiring around it because i dropped the battery negative terminal screw in the engine bay and had to go fishing for it.

i do have my turn signals wired kinda weird.
1 click- citylights only
2 clicks- lowbeams only

my turn signal bulbs only turn on (before today) when i actually use the turn signal stalk or, obviously, when i use the emergency light triangle.

any help?

thanks.

take care.

Default did you check the blinker fluid? sometimes it gets pretty low

:P

i keed, i keed

if you checked the fuses and they are "fine" thats odd.

have you tried replacing the bulbs?

Default you shouldnt have messed up anything to my knowledge from teh sounds of things..

but you might want to unplug the ballasts and reconnect them just to make sure there isnt a loose connection.

is it all four corners (front & back) not working? or just front..or back?

someone else should probably chime in considering i have an A6 :P

but i would definately re-check the ballast connection. also unplug/reconnect the fuses correllating with the lights.
