Default Re: Argh I paid $275 for DNA Speedometers to repair mine. Oh well.

I'd like one as well...email me directly at rricktor@hotmail.com and we can discuss shipping and price...Thanks. At one time there was a fellow named Gavin at modulemaster.com in Moscow Idaho who was working on a fix...

Default Are You Still Active??

Are you in the business of repairing these Audi instrument clusters? I have a 2000 A4 5 speed with the familiar fading/dropped line problem that worsens with increasing outside temperature and length of time the vehicle has been used. Do you repair these clusters? What do you charge? Where are you located? Will my car still operate if I remove the cluster?

Default New LCD for cluster display, is it available for DIY?

What's the status of these LCD's? I'm surprised this thread doesn't have more attention with so many of these clusters failing, is there a new thread in place of this one?

How are these LCD's working (color/contrast and quality) and are they forsale for DIY?

Thanks for the link although I was specifically referring to the availability of LCD only replacement display panels which were the original topic of this thread by DxC.

Are these displays available for people who want to install themselves? If yes, how is the color/contrast/quality?
