I didn't find anything in the Archives, is it possible to upgrade a 00 to the 01.5 larger...

Default I didn't find anything in the Archives, is it possible to upgrade a 00 to the 01.5 larger...

turbo oil inlets? My car is stock and I intend to keep it that way for the foreseeable future, I'm just considering it for long-term reliability. Thanks for any advice you can provide...

Buehn's K03-based hybrids all use the new housings.

not without replacing the turbos IIRC.

Default you could swap in K03's with the updated bearing housings....

but if you pulled the engine just to do that then i would seriously consider going with a K03/K04 or even a K04.

Default hey whats up imolavirus,.......

i have a noob question even though iam not. what is the biggest hp difference between a rs4k04 and your k03/k04 hybrids? i know the housing is smaller and so are the inlets, but can the power be so different even though the cartridge on the hybrid is the same?

Default Hot sides are also smaller on the hybrid than on the K04

but I have heard that the hybrids are about 90-95% of real K04's.... but there is no conclusive hard evidence of that, just speculation.

The CHRA's are the same, but essentially the a/r's of the housings (mainly the turbine housing) are smaller which leads to a lower peak hp number.
