So, I had just left the movie store in downtown Kirkland, WA. As I pull out of blockbuster, I pull up to the stoplight. What do I see behind me? A brand spanking new beautiful BMW Z8. I was eying the thing the whole time...it was awesome. Next to him is a white E36 M3, also looking at the Z8. Apparently the m3 owner got a spur of the moment feeling of camaraderie, because he immediately went into "jackass" driving mode.
He cut off the Z8, and then cut off the Jeep next to me to get behind me at the next light. This guy was obviously wanting something. So the next stoplight led to my exit/onramp onto 405. It's a big sweeping 280 degree turn, fun stuff. So I accelerate off from the stoplight and put about 10 car lengths on this guy, and lift around 70mph (in a 40mph zone :\).
So I get to the 25mph onramp and the M3 is on my *** again at this point. I proceed to take the onramp at 50mph, which I do most of the time. By the end of the turn, he's about 7 car lengths behind me, then theres a nice straightaway leading onto the highway. I blast up to about 110mph (maybe I redlined fourth , putting a total of at least a 1/4 mile between me and the M3. I slowed down and this moron flys by me at 100+mph and nearly rear ends someone in the process...way to go.
So he's in front of me now, and he takes the same exit as me. This guy must be fuming cause he's doing burnouts at each and every stoplight, one time nearly hitting a car next to him. I just let him go at that point, and took the turn for my apartment.
Moral of the story, owning a fast car doesn't make you fast. Oh and, don't underestimate the S4
