I finally installed my shortshifter!!!
I realize that for many of you, this is a small feat, but think of it as an event in the Special Olympics for the mechanically impaired. I can now use superior mad rowing skillz to put back in their places evil M3s and that craaazy Volvo that I often see on I75 (a s70 that goes arguably faster than any Volvo even should - the ultimate sleeper)! Thanks everyone on here for their advice, comments, and laughs! You are the best (wiping away tear with bloody hand)...
By the way, I still can't get that #$%&ing wrench out from under here:

I tried the shop-vac, and I tried to take the cover off but I couldn't find the screws. Anyway it's still in there; is it going to $#%* anything up or can I just leave it there as a tribute to my mechanical ineptitude?
