I got a good story! Went to the dealer to replace my license plate ligth under warranty and...
a half an hour job, that they would not let me do by myself cause it was under warranty, took an hour and a half. Then they took for ever washing my car, which I didnt care anyway since it was going to ran and to top it all off right when I was about to turn out of the dealer I noticed my windshield had a 12 inch crack running though it!!! They broke my windshield putting in a license plate light!!! WTF!!

Probably a stress fracture...
If the car was parked in the hot sun, and they dowsed COLD water on it when they washed it...it's very possible the glass just cracked. Look for impact marks...if there are none that indicate where the fracture began, then it's likely a stress fracture as I mentioned.
