Edmunds aren't what I'd call enthusiasts. Most would agree.

Default I tried to sell a buddy on S4, he bought 330i

I paid $38,700 for my loaded S4. My friend recently paid over $36,000 for a 330i with one option, automatic. Do the math, I get two-tone leather, sunroof, premium Bose sound, all-wheel drive, home link transmitter, power front seats, six speed tranny, not to mention the phenomenal 2.7 biturbo engine. In the end, he wanted the panache of owning a BMW. You could probably find an S4 for $38,000 or a little less now.

Default A few reasons...

1. You'll get more than an 'image' car...
2. AWD, that in and of itself should be reason enough.
3. better interior, in ergonomics, fit/finish, and materials.
4. More power over more bandwidth.
5. Probably a lower overall pricetag even if you're getting a new S4... ($40.4k equally equiped using numbers on BMW.com)
6. More std equipment
7. 6 more valves (5-valves/cylinder)
8.

Default Where do I start.......WOW

1. 225 HP vs. 250. S4 Stage II (chip + exhaust) you are looking at close to 320.

2. Quattro, not just AWD. Much more refined and advanced than the BMW system.

3. More room inside. More trunk space. Nicer leather (alcantara is an option, which BMW doesn't offer)

4. Mad Torque. Twin turbo V6 that just pulls and pulls. You will be the envy of your neighborhood.

5. Audiworld. This should be #1. This is the most knowledgable, fun, nice group of people you will find. They are true car enthusiasts who are here to help and assist you with decisions/mods/repair etc. Plus, you will find that Audiworld takes on a whole new dimension once you have the S4.

Trust me, you will never look back once you have the S4. Oh, one last thing, you can get the Avant too, all the same features as above, but in a Wagon. Where's BMWs 330Xi wagon???

Good luck, I trust you will make the right decision.
