If you've read my previous posts about the tranny, you know what's been going on. The tranny had to come back out because the front seal was leaking after being repaired. Well I guess they fixed the leak, BUT NOW THE CLUTCH IS SLIPPING in top gear at 3000 rpm WOT. I give up , I really do. I specifically called the dealer to ask if the new clutch disc I payed for was contaminated with oil. They said no. Yea right!!!! It got a little better after I heated it up . The oil must have burned off . The glaze won't go away though. I will have to see if it holds up. My experiance with clutch discs is, that once they get wet with oil, their done. Maybe I'll get lucky. I don't know why they would risk yet another removal. They will probably say it's because I wanted the car back for Labor day or some BS like that. I will lose my mind if I have to bring it back any time soon. I hope none of you guys have to go through what I have. Being a mechanic makes it even harder for me to deal with this ****. The tech was pissed because he had to do the job again, and probably didn't get payed a second time. If he has to take it down again.......... Motto, Don't f--k up your tranny . Even if it's not your fault , they will make you feel like it is .
