Default I just upgraded to the GIAC X-Chip - faster but not smooth...any thoughts?

The previous software version was fast and very sommth...almost stock like. The X-Chip is definately faster..a reall kick in the butt dyno!!! But very noticable surges. Not as noticable at WOT. During slow to medium acceleration, you can map the power cuts at 2 to three pridictable rpm ranges. Anybody noticed that? ....But, man is it FAST!!!!!

Default Yes, I've noticed it as well....

..."M" box ECU. Small hesitations/surges/hiccups (whatever you want to call them) at light throttle between say 2,400 and 3,100 RPM.

I haven't yet spoken to AWE or Garrett about this.

Default I have H-Box. I had the same problem with MTM chip ...

but even when I switched to X-chip, I still have these power surges. However, they are not as noticeable with X-chip.

My M code ECU is pretty much smooth all around town. And is great on the highway.

Default yes, H box is like this for some sad reason. AWE blames other reasons for the hesitations...

but I dont buy it. I have yet to be in a H box chipped (ANY chip) car that does not have the hesitations in med. throttle push. WOT is smmooooth though.
