i know it's simple for most of you folks but months after installing my pads and rotors
they rattling is GONE. i'm not really a DIY'er but ed @ induktion figured i needed to learn this lesson on my own. my dumbass put the clips on the back pads into the slots on the calipers. he showed me what needed to be done. thanks again. now my car doesn't sound so ghetto.

Funny - left them out of my buddy's S-10 and dad's minivan. Still no rattle.
Has a lot to do with how the tolerances ran that day, I guess. Plus, if you leave it off, MaD wEiGhT savings!!
