Default I noticed yesterday i can pull more boost at 3/4 throttle then full
that normal or was i just seeing things on my boost gauge

Default Waht year is your car? There is the 3/4 throttle problem. Ther is also a mod
to fix it. You basically goto Home depot and buy a rubber end cap to who knows what and cut it down. It slips over the throttle stop below your accelerator pedal to reduce the travel of the pedal.

Default should be lots in the archives about the 3/4 throttle mod...
apparently faster because the car runs on maps at 3/4 vs. sensors at wot.

i dont have a boost guage so i guess i cant see if its happening to mine...

Default Anecdotally, last week my great service advisor agreed that the car runs better not at full throttle
I agree wholeheartedly. I'm thinking a trip to the hardware store to find a rubber bumper for the 3/4 throttle mod is in order.

I believe it's 2001.5+ cars (M box). Mr. Madman has done research on the issue, I hope he chimes in

Default At 3/4 throttle the car is still using the 02 sensors to adjust the fuel
while at WOT the car just goes by maps/maf and if it is too rich the power will drop off.
