I bet everyone a hundred bucks that Audi is planning on coming out with an S4 coupe for 2003/4 to match wits with the M3. This is typical Audi manuvering... wait for a great product to come out (E36 M3) make a niche car that fully competes in completely different ways (our S4s) and claim victory while new product comes out (E46 M3). Disapear from the lime light for a year or two and let people get bored of their new toy, then come out with another niche car that competes in completely different ways.

I think they'll show the S4 coupe and give it the heritage of the quattro sport coupe as a marketing tool. Then show how much better it is than the E46... right before BMW goes forward with their new product.

But from all the between-the-lines I've read, an A4 coupe is definately coming back anyways.

Audi is bringing in the S3 to fill it's sportcoupe niche, I wouldn't hold my breath for S4 coupe

it is true...my order was the first placed at the dealer in this area...but comfirmed by the rep.
s-4 coupe 6 speed tip silver/ black / nav 18"
wheels ect... the coupe will follow the cab by 5 months or so i'm told the convert. comes out in nov/dec 02.
