the cops look over at me to check me out. 
This isn't good.

that always happened to me in Imola. They had their faces pressed up against their windows...
like kids outside a candy store.
Rt. 5....200 yards away...you'd see their beaming faces fixed on ole Imola.

That was going to be my excuse if the cops came knocking at my door...
