I have to ask here. Would YOU put an APR chip in your $130K warranteed Porsche?

Probably. I mean, if you can afford a $130K Porsche I doubt you'd be sweating warranty issues.

Default I thought APR = Audi Performance and Racing. Haha, kind of funny...

Like I would put a HPR (Honda Performance and Racing) chip in my S4.

Not that the APR isn't a great chip, it's just funny that it holds that name.

Default Doesn't the 996TT have a Motronic 7.x? Sounds like a cash cow for APR to me. They already have the

code cracked so they apply there S4-tweaks to the 996TT ECU and sell it for 5-6 times as much.

Default Easy there fellas - check out APR's HP/torque graph. Porsche under rates it

Default I wish it were that easy...

Yes the 996TT does use Bosch Motronic 7.X but that is just the begining.

We have invested a great deal into this market. New custom software, R&D vehicle etc.
We are working hand in hand with several Porsche outfits to meet their demanding needs(Champion Motorsport for one). Yes the price for the software is significantly more than the S4 but the cars price, number sold and technology required to to the upgrades properly require a premium charge. What's crazy is our upgrade is dirt cheap compared to several companies that are charging over 12K for just a chip.

Anyway this in no way takes us away from our first love.....Audi's!!!!!!!
