I want to change the tranny fluid. What do i get, and where do i get it?

I want something that might help smooth out the crappy audi transmission. I want something that will last atleast 30K miles. I know some of you guys really sweet fluid, that smoothes up the transmission like new, but it's not designed for extended use.

cant smooth out a six speed---time for a new gear box-let me guess 2nd-3rd gears?

Yeah, but.. audi is known for using less than good tranny fluid. Many guys here have had good luck

who told you that one---audi uses some of the most exotic lubricants made it is almost a problem as

cant easily obtain the required juice....

Not true...

If you want to change your trans lubricant try either Mobile-1, 75W/90 GL4, or the GL-4 stuff made by RedLine. Both are pretty good and pretty expensive.
