if you had to rent a car for one day and you had your pick of . . .
a Prowler, a Cobra replica, an XK8 convertible, Boxster, or a 993 Cabriolet. Not knowing the year, mileage, or condition of any of them before committing, which would you go for?

Boxster (yuck!) - Boxster S (another story)
I wouldn't bother with the Boxster. I tore one up with my supercharged miata. That was one pissed Porsche owner. I have driven the Boxster S and I definately was faster than my miata and tons more fun. Otherwise I would go with the 993.

What I would give for warm weather!
What I really want is a 93-95 RX7, but living in New England leaves me needing something that can thrash through the snow. My existing RWD two cars (supercharged miata and '92 318i) can't hack faster than 25 mph after a heavy snow.
