If you were to debadge completely and put somethinglike a VW badge on the back
and a cop or metermaid wrote you up as a VW, would that catch entitle you to get out of the ticket? Just speculation.

Not in Maywood, IL (Chicago) - I got stopped for supposedly running a stop sign. Cop hands me a
ticket that says 99 VW Wagon and I am driving an Audi TT. I go to court and judge couldn't care less. Fines me $75. All they want is the money.
