Steve S. is going to kill me.......I compared an S4 to a 2.7T A6 appearance wise today (they hadn't been prepped to drive yet) and decided I liked the S4 much better than the biturbo A6. The A6 looked kinda weird to me (kinda bulbous in the cabin area) even with the new five spoke wheels.

There was an "unspoken for" S4 available on order just how I want it, so I grabbed it. Since I've bought a lot of Audis there recently (personal, business) I didn't have to put down any money to reserve the car.

So I WILL have an S4 before Steve S., even though he ordered a while back. Do you hate me Steve? (grins)

I thought you had an A6 for a company car or something like that. If so, it surprises me that you didn't care for the looks of the 2.7T since they are the same.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll love the S4. Just try and keep it longer than 3 weeks this time. :-)

I guess this means we're going to have to put up with you again. :-)

Yes, my business partner has a 98 2.8 A6. I still have my 98 2.8 A4 (Wetterized). I thought about getting the 2.7T, but thought the looks of the S4 were more aggresive, etc. I thought I would be tired of the A4 lines on the S4 and the 1st S4 I saw in person was silver, like my A4. When I saw this S I was suitably unimpressed.

But, when I saw a red S4 and compared it to a 2.7T A6, the S4 was the winner. IMO, having a color other than silver (blue, red, etc.) makes the wheels, the front grill, and the S badges stand out much more. Awesome!

(Yes, this means you'll have to put up with me and my warped sense of humor again!)-(grins)
