I was going to go for an APR chip after i've done a bit of research. Prior to ordering, I've seen a immobilizer page on apr's site. It almost stated that vehicle equipped with immobilizer III are almost chip-able if i were to get it with a new ECU (I need to swap the original ECU in for service, dealer specifically says warranty void if car is chipped). Now I just got a few question, it'll be nice if someone could answer it.

1) How would I determine if my car is equipped with Immobolizer II, III, or no immobolizer?

2) If Immobolizer III is eqipped, is there anyway to get around it without contacting Audi for the special code?
