Imola bumper repair update...
For whoever cares about the S4 bumper chipping problem: Ive posted in the past that AoA has agreed to flip the bill for repainting the front bumper with 500 chips on it (about 8000 miles only on the car).
Dropped it off Monday at the dealer to have a bad fog relay replaced, and they drove it (not crazy 'bout that) 5 miles to the body shop.
Went to pick it up yesterday (40 miles away) and, while the color match was good, the grills weren't removed and there were tape marks, and overspray on the grills...all in all an acceptable job for most people, but not for me. I talked with the manager, and fully expecting the usual "well, it looks fine to me, thats what happens" - he told me he agreed with my complaints and would redo it till I was happy.
Ill let everyone know how it turns out next week, and take some pics once I throw my new Abt A25's on.

hehehehe that's more or less what happened to me...
the dealer did the bumper without ending up hassling me...they didn't paint the IC covers (oh well touch-up paint) and the masking job was only okay...but I'll take it over the polka-dotted bumper any day hehehe.
