Impressions of Audi Collection cat-back exhaust
Work has been pretty busy lately, but I finally was able to get the Audi Collection cat-back exhaust installed. Here's some pics:

The Streetwerke folks said this is a very nice exhaust and wanted to know what brand exhaust it was. I said it is the official Audi cat-back exhaust made by either Remus or Vibrant (I can't confirm this but I think it is the latter) that I bought it used in the AW classifieds. I decided to get it after verifying that this is NOT a 2.5" exhaust- it's more like 73mm to be exact- a little wider where the two pipes merge into the center resonator, but definitely does not taper more than 73mm- even down to the intake before the muffler. See pic poster for those pics, or my older post.
Just looking at the center resonator led me to believe that this exhaust isn't stealth. I was right. The sound is aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud, but it definitely is a deep growl. On the highway, it actually quiets down and there is no drone whatsoever. I really like it! I like the look (it kinda looks like a Milltek) and it isn't "rice" IMO. I asked my GF how she thought of it, and she really liked it, so that's always a good thing. =D
All in all, this exhaust sounds aggressive (like APR SRT), but integrates cleanly w/ the S4 and is quiet on freeway speeds. The price was right and hopefully, won't violate warranty (as my car is CPO to 2007/100,000 mi).

Could'nt you just run the car again with the stock ECU and the codes would show up again?
Not sure how that all works. Would Audi look for the codes of a blown trubo when it was so obvious.
