Improve your brakes for under $20.
Ok, not the performance, the LOOKS! My new S4 was sparkling-everywhere... except the the brakes. The rotors had a rusty edge and the vented area was also a orange rusty mess. The base of the rotor where it attaches to the hub was also unsightly and unpainted. The calipers were bare and unevenly colored.
I painted the edges and inside of the rotor with flat black high heat paint. I painted the inside of the rotor where it mates up to the hub and the inside of the wheel with a silver/grey to match my alloy wheel hub. This also fills the pours so brake dust does not adhere so easily. The calipers were done in a combo of aluminum silver and semigloss black. The results are a perfectly factory (better than) new appearance without the rust and color imperfections. I also waxed the inside of the wheel to help make brake dust less of a cleaning problem.
Now the view through the Avus wheels is perfect.
It's the details that count!
