Default Are the Induktion turbo oil lines larger diameter than stock?

I've read in more than one post that the stock turbo oil lines are fine and that they just need some thermal tubing to shield them from the exhaust.

However I seem to recall that the lines on MY2000 were too small?

Stage 3 is in process, so I need to make a decision soon.

TIA.

Default Our lines are not larger than stock....flow in comparison to stock

is not really the issue that is addressed by our lines. The advantages to our lines are that they are flexible and can be routed further away from the exhaust manifolds and the heat generated by them and also that the passenger side line is insulated insuring the heat does not transfer through the line to the oil running through it and to your turbo. Feel free to email me with any other questions.

Default One topic I've had conversations about in regards to this.....

was the bends in the OE lines, and whether or not the I.D. volume of flow was effected. Although no tests were done, and as Ed stated, our lines weren't intended to address a larger flow, in the R&D phases we did chop up an OE line to measure, and used the appropriate sized line. IIRC it was AN -3, but it was a few years ago. Add to that, the OE lines take a couple pretty wicked turns, while ours don't.

Also, making the lines larger would actually be a bad thing, since it could lower oil pressure in other parts of the engine. ;-)
