Default Info. needed....

Does anyone know if the new S4 will have the sequential tranny? I need to know before 9pm central time tomorrow night. The reason is I found a great deal on a Laguna Seca Blue M3 SMG with 3000 miles that will only be available until Thursday, that I don't want to miss. I know that the new S4 will be come out at the show in September but that will be to late. I would much rather have an S4 but the wife can't drive a stick and I can't spend that ammoung of money on a vehicle that she can't have fun with too.

Thank you in advance.

Default Sorry if this is a dumb question

What about teaching the wife to drive a stick? It's not rocket science. Anybody who can be trusted to drive a $40K+ car ought to be up to the task (assuming no physical handicap of course).

Default I've tried to teach her, my dad tried, ever her dad that used to...

to race NASCAR tried and failed. She loves to race, but some people just don't have the nack for shifting. I am about to tell her that she is getting a shifter kart and that's the end of it.

Default nothing confirmed yet, but I highly doubt they'd make it a sequential

considering that their current angle on the non-manual tranny is the Multitronic CVT (available on the current A4). Plus, why would they make the S4 with a brand new tranny and not the flagships RS6/RS4?

Default It may be unveiled this September, but probably won't be available in US until the following Sept.

as a 2004 model as I think it normally happens.

Default I knew when it is supposed to be available...

I just wanted to know the tranny specs. According to Motor Trend it could possibly have a 7 speed sequential tranny. But you can't always rely on their information.
