Default Install prices
I was wondering what the going rate is to install downpipes, and a sport spring/bilstein shock kit. Any info would be great. Thanks ahead of time.

find someone who's never done downpipes on a b5 s4... then he won't know to overcharge

I paid around 550 to install piggies and rip out the GHL, local around boulder

Default Install Shops
Around Northern Virginia, there are plenty of perfermance shops but like you guys said they would know to overcharge. Can a shop like Meineke, or another place like this do it?

Default no... look for an independant mechanic.
through the bmw car club of america (the local group i do track events with) i met a guy who works on my car for 35 an hour, and works quickly. try various online or club forums perhaps? (btw im a mtbrider as well)

Default i used to do the norba ncs series (snowshoe, wv is kinda in your neck of the woods)
but now i'm selling all my race bikes and drinking a lot of beer lol
