Default Installing Schroth harness

So, I managed to get all but one of the points installed for the harness.

How do I get the point attached to the right of the drivers seat installed? (The side next to the hand brake, center of the car, etc)

I got the seat out of the car (not an easy task) but I couldn't figure out how to get the point installed anywhere on that side.

You've got to use the brass colored bolt that anchors the stock buckle on the right side. It's near the truck that fits into the rail (slide), at the very bottom rear of the seat. If you can't get your wrench onto the bolt, use some channel-lock pliers and rotate the truck so that the bolt is accessible.

Hope this helps. This is truly the hardest part of the job.

Default I saw that, but what a pain in the ***

Guess I'll need to stop by Sears and pick up some more tools tomorrow. Thanks!

Default Which side of the standard buckle did you install it on?

I see in the Schroth manual where it shows a typical Audi/VW install and it shows it on the inside of the buckle, seems kinda tight there. Doesn't look like the buckle would be able to move much

I put the Schroth belt between the seat and the stock anchor.

Default Heh, I realized that after I got the chair out

My roommate, who offered to help, was busy today so I figured I'd give it a whirl.

The first time is always the hardest, now that I've done it once, the second time won't be as hard
