Default interesting how the q7 is going to help us s4 owners out...

I will be checking the pricing tomorrow... but even the base q7 uses 6 piston front brembos and 4 piston rears... might allow for some less expensive brake upgrades. I am going to see what my discount will do for me tomorrow

Default i dont see Q7 hardware being the answer... number one...

1) OE is pretty expensive

2) pad selection

3) rotor prices (again, OE is expensive, custom aftermarket hats + rotors couldn't be cheaper than mainstream aftermarket - ST, Brembo, StaSiS, etc.)

4) balance. who says that the bias will work out to be a direct bolt on? i doubt it.

Default 1) and 2) of your points would mean no ECS Pcar brakes at 2/3 the price of aftermarket selection

Sooo not sure your correct.

Don't people use cayenne caliper/brakes as a BBK? Why shouldn't the Q7 be considered...lmk exjetta

Default didnt ecs recently up their prices?

what makes the ECS work is the pad selection available for 993TT calipers. don't know if that'll be the case with the Q7 calipers.

Default oh... and i really question the quality of ECS's hats and rotors

so that might be an area where they're saving $$$

Default Pad availability is a major concern and did they up their price from the $18xx?

And if you recall Stasis started selling the A8 brake calipers as an upgrade..

So "some" of your points are valid Just not all..

All 993 parts recently went up in price. Blame that on the 997 coming out.

It looks like the same Caliper as the Cayenne Turbo aka ECS Stage IV.
