Depends on the position of the switch near the sunroof control.

Default Assuming the switch is correct (and the light comes on for the driver's door)
I guess the body shop screwed that up on my car, then.

Default It's probably just a missing switch
since they replaced the front fender. No biggie. These things are expected.

Default This was probably the body shop and not the dealer
The dealer is the one that screwed up the headlights, etc.

Default Well, I don't have much of a choice
Can't sell the car with all these little bugs. Once the bugs are fixed, why sell the car.

Classic Catch-22 scenario.
