No joke, it was really bad. The car was fine until I hit the PA turnpike...then it threw a rod
I had to hitch a ride back with some rednecks. The dealership is going to take care of it...new engine/clutch, an extended warranty, and they'll ship it back to me in Michigan.
It was a huge PITA though. Thanks for your help Matt, sorry I never got back to you last week. I was a little tied up in just trying to get home!

Sucks, but you are lucky. Everyone OK, firefighters let you go inside the line to get the S. Sure,
it was a ****ty night and all, but consider yourself blessed.
A week ago I called 911 to report a fire two doors down. Was the first to call it in. Wish I had seen the smoke earlier. Neighbor died from smoke inhalation.
I am so glad that your situation is far from that.

Thanks. It's a Sony Ericsson W810i. I really like it, it takes excellent pictures for a phone.

Damn Chris, that's real unfortunate. Glad to hear you and the wife are okay. Hopefully no one else
was injured.
Also glad to hear that your S and things were virtually unharmed.
